I believe it was 911 as well as the oil well fires of Kuwait.
The youtube videos of the 700 oil wells that were set on fire is incredible.
It can’t be too coincidental that Pres. Hinckley states that Joel’s prophecy has been fulfilled just short of a month from 911.

I believe in the possibility that when certain important events of Gospel history were in progress, we were present to witness such events. For instance, I believe that when Joseph Smith’s First Vision took place, many of us were there, and saw, heard, and felt, what was taking place, so we would be witnesses to these important events. Whether or not I was there, I do know by the gift and power of the Holy Ghost, that Joseph Smith’s First Vision really did happen and I know it more sureidly than if I was there to witness it.

That is such an interesting experiment! Might have to try it sometime. It would make a fun family home evening.

I think words carry so much meaning, and so much is communicated through attitude and approach. Having a loving and kind approach almost always results in the other person feeling cared for and respected, while an accusatory or critical approach is almost always destructive.

I printed this off this morning and compared some of the verbage with the new handbook. Almost everything is correct except for a few things under: sealing and anointing, name and blessing child, consecrating oil, father’s blessing, dedicating graves. The wording is mostly accurate but again I think with the new handbooks they have added a couple of changes. Thank you for taking the time to do this though, that is a lot of work. This makes a great Father’s Day gift. Thanks again!
