Might have to try it sometime. It would make a fun family home evening. I think words carry so much meaning, and so much is communicated through attitude and approach. Having a loving and kind approach almost always results in the other person feeling cared for and respected, while an accusatory or critical approach is almost always destructive. Almost everything is correct except for a few things under: sealing and anointing, name and blessing child, consecrating oil, father's blessing, dedicating graves. The wording is mostly accurate but again I think with the new handbooks they have added a couple of changes. Thank you for taking the time to do this though, that is a lot of work. While I do not know the details as you have not shared, I feel for your pain. I know of someone from another online forum who went through a lot with her family. I don't know exactly what it was either. I am not sure if things are better now but a lot of time has passed. She said her husband believed in always putting his feet where they should be in Church even when it was hard. By making that firm decision, they did it even when it was hard. I assume it got easier. I respected them so much for that. I appreciate that you really seek to forgive. Having a forgiving heart is wonderful. Perhaps this experience does help you to understand those who struggle with forgiveness.
